Eggs Benedict

If this one food is made from muffins that have been split in half. The top is added with several other ingredients including floating eggs, bacon, and hollandaise sauce.

Apart from being a breakfast menu, this dish is also a lunch menu. This dish is usually served with hot tea and is quite easy to make and delicious.

Ingredienst :

  • Eggs - 2 eggs
  • English muffins / any bread - 2 pieces
  • Smoked beef - 2 pieces
  • Butter - 1 tsp
  • Water to boil eggs - to taste
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp

HOLLANDAISE SAUCE:

  • Eggs - 2 yolks
  • Unsalted butter, melted - 6 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper powder - to taste

Step

  1. Hollandaise sauce: Heat water in a saucepan until it boils, then reduce heat to low. Place a glass/stainless container on top (double boiler method), add the egg yolks, stir with a whisk until thick, then remove from heat. Add the melted butter gradually while continuing to stir until an emulsion is formed. Add salt and pepper to taste, mix well. Cover the container to keep warm, set aside.
  2. Poached egg: Boil water in a 4-7 cm high pot until it boils and bubbling, then reduce the heat until the water boils just a little. Add 1 teaspoon of vinegar, then stir in a circular motion to form a swirl. This will help keep the egg whites together and not spread. Add the eggs, boil for about 2-3 minutes, depending on your desired level of doneness. Remove the poached eggs with a large spoon with a slotted vegetable spoon, drain.
  3. Take an english muffin or any bread, cut it in half, spread butter on both sides. Heat a non-stick frying pan, bake the bread until golden brown, remove from heat.
  4. With the same skillet, roast the smoked beef for a while.
  5. Solution: Arrange english muffins, put smoked beef, then poached egg on top, then put hollandaise sauce dressing. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and chili powder, serve.

TIPS

  1. Use really fresh eggs to get beautiful poached eggs.
  2. For a light hollandaise sauce color, use omega eggs.
  3. If the hollandaise sauce is already cold, we can warm it with the double boiler method over low heat.
